Hired by our previous clients Coffee2Go to design a cafe within the reception area of an office block, the concept was to create a lively social space within an un-utilised reception area. The main brief concern was to ensure the design blended into the existing interiors, giving the perception of belonging within the space. With no water supply, this unit had to be self-contained and easily disassembled if required. Designed, manufactured and assembled off site and installed efficiently on a Saturday, resulting in a pleasant surprise on a Monday morning for all Connaught House residences. What once was an uninhabited space now bustles with a sense of community and good coffee!
